Glamorous actress Cate Blanchett is selling her equally glamorous waterfront Sydney estate, Bulwarra, looking to move now that her husband Andrew Upton’s tenure as the artistic director of the Sydney Theatre Company has come to an end. Located in the upscale Hunter Hill neighborhood, the historic 19th century sandstone manor underwent an AUS$ 8 million modern renovation in 2007 at the hands of architects Nadine Alwill and Stephen Lesiuk, who doubled the floor space and added a glass front and central steel staircase. The estate features a private garden, sky-lit dressing room, tennis court and a very well-appointed interior (the concrete walls are a nice touch). The couple is looking to part ways with the property for AUS$ 20 million ($ 14.75 million), which, with the renovation factored in, would still see them coming out ahead.
