Ask Oliver Stone about drugs and a answers are revealing.
"I'm like Willie Nelson," the Savages executive says in The Hollywood Reporter cover story. "I trust a weed is God's gift."
The filmmaker that's brought Platoon, Wall Street and Born on a Fourth of July to a large shade shows only how most he knows and what he enjoys.

"California creates a best in a universe now. When we was a kid, it was Vietnamese, it was Thai, Jamaican for a while. All my life I've been doing it, off and on," he says. "I can stop marijuana. we can [go though it] for weeks and weeks. I'm not addicted, though we suffer it. we also suffer alcohol."
As for complicated drugs, Stone is some-more nitpicky.
"Cocaine, we stay divided from," he reveals. "But we trust in LSD, mescaline, mushrooms, ayahuasca. You ever listened of ayahuasca? It's a really clever extract that comes from a rubber trees. Ecstasy is great, too."
Savages, in theaters Jul 6, centers on dual pot growers whose mutual partner is kidnapped by a Mexican cartel. Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek and John Travolta star.
