"A naked man who photographers say appeared to be high on drugs was reportedly tackled to the ground by police and arrested near actor Orlando Bloom's Hollywood mansion," the New York Post reports, also posting
a series of incident photos here (warning: NSFW).
The police report says the couple's neighbours called the cops when the man started screaming. That's when things took a turn for the weirder.
"Hollywood police reportedly found the man lying face down on the street down the road from the home, which Bloom, 35, shares with wife and Victoria's Secret supermodel Miranda Kerr, 29, and their 17-month old son. The man reportedly tried to escape from police by diving into bushes, but was captured and arrested."
Creepy and super scary. It's bad enough to have that happen outside your home but imagine the added fear involved when you have a young child. Thankfully authorities were able to subdue the man and cart him off before things got more out of hand. And extra thankfully, of course, that the paparazzi were already on hand to snap the man into tabloid infamy. No, just kidding. That's actually the worst part of this entire story.
The article also notes that Orlando and Miranda's neighbours include Will Ferrell, Charlize Theron and Jason Statham. I wonder if any of them happened to be one of the concerned folks who made the call.
