After the nasty crash between Lindsay Lohan's Porsche and a 18-wheeler truck on the Pacific Coast Highway, producers of her new movie, "Liz & Dick," have decided it might be best to get the traffic-challenged star a driver.
"Lifetime will lose a ton of money if Lindsay doesn't finish filming 'Liz and Dick,' plus they don't want anything to happen to her on their watch," a publicist close to the network tells me. "So it was decided it would be cheaper to get her a driver. Most contracts provide drivers for its stars in the first place, so this isn't that unusual."
Tuesday morning, Lindsay was seen arriving on set as a passenger in a black SUV. We can expect to see the same thing every morning until filming ends. After that, LA drivers be warned!
"This is a make-or-break moment for Lindsay," one insider tells me. "If she messes this opportunity up, she will never work again. It really is that serious and she knows it."
