Plush: A large carpet was also delivered to the residence. Preparations: Massive bunches of perfect white roses were seen being delivered to Parker's home for the big dinner tonight.
Parker is borrowing a move from George Clooney's fundraising playbook, by offering small-dollar donors a chance to win tickets to the dinner at her house by entering a raffle with $3 online donations. She also appeared in an ad touting the fundraiser which aired earlier this month during the MTV Movie Awards.
In it, she calls President Obama 'that guy.' The ad says: 'OK, the guy who ended the war in Iraq, the guy who says you should be able to marry anyone you want, and the guy who created 4 million new jobs, that guy,' she says adding, 'Because we need him and he needs us.' She is continuing to work hard to make the dinner a success, sending out an email to supporters saying: 'I'm hosting this event on June 14th because there is so much at stake this year and I want to keep doing what I can.
'I hope you'll help me welcome President Obama and the First Lady to New York.' The email also ask for donations of '$3 or whatever you can to be automatically entered.' Oscar winner Clooney hosted a dinner last month at his home in Los Angeles where about 150 people paid $40,000 a ticket to see the president.
Pulling out all the stops: Movers were seen bringing a piano into the actress's Big Apple home especially for the visit on Monday. Spic and Span: A cleaner was spotted doing the very last bits dusting around Parker's front door.
