Is Anyone Annoyed By The Distorted Image Of "curviness" In ...
Jun 14th 2012, 05:04

I'm really critical about diet and figure. I'm 5'9.5 and 105 pounds and I wear a 0. I used to weigh 150 and wear a 6, but after a diet of 1200 calories a day and 15 min of exercise per day, I lost forty five pounds over a period of little more than a year. Anyway, I used to have curves when I was 150 pounds and felt that I was legitimately curvy without the excess flab.
But honestly it really irks me when people are like "oh, damn girl you have curves" when the subject in person is, for example, my height, 180 pounds and a size 16. I believe that "curviness" should NOT be caused by a thick layer of fat around the butt, hips and chest, but by a naturally fit figure maintained by diet/exercise. It's honestly an insult to the toned curvy women to be compared to fat people dubbed curvy.
In my opinion: 0-2 skinny
4-6 thin
8-10 curvy
Anything above ten I feel is disgustingly fat. Does anyone share the same point of view as me?
For example:
Curvy celebs: Salma Hayek, Beyonce
Fat celebrities who society deems curvy: Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian (I'm sorry, that fat *** is disgusting) and Queen Latifah
